1. Does Vesta Grove app work offline? 

Yes, Vesta Grove app works offline.  You will need internet access for updates. Updates are automatic and no download time.

2. I can't read the text on the app. Is there a way to fix that?

Yes, you can go to the menu under Settings/Toggles and flip on accessibility toggle. This will make the text Verdana and easier to read. 

You can also try changing the color mode in the same area, Settings/Toggles in the app. And you don't even have to leave a room to do that. Just click the menu button and change these things.

Also, checking your zoom settings in your phone's display section. High zoom settings can cause the app to look a bit cramped.

3. Is Vesta Grove really free? 

Yes. It's free and there are no ads. But, if you'd like to support my work I will have a tip jar soon.

4. I am on IOS, does this app work with iPhone or iPads?

Yes, it does. Just be aware that IOS can sometimes wipe data if you aren't using the app every now and then. This means you could lose your Quest Companion calendar settings, shopping list settings, and Cabinet of Charms and Woodland Almanac collections, Favorites in other rooms, etc... 

*I have included an easy Backup and Restore system in the app. You can find it in Settings/Toggles in the Menu or in Quest Companion. It's highly recommended to Backup your app at least twice a month*)

5. I don't like the voice that is used for the Read Aloud button. Can I change it?

Yes, you can. The app just hooks up to your device's TTS. So, whatever voice your TTS is using as a default will be the voice you hear in the app. You can change it but you'll need to find that information for your specific device.

6. The Read Aloud button isn't working. What do I do?

You must toggle on the voice feature in Settings/Toggle in the menu. It can take a few seconds for it to work. 

   *Make sure you have your volume on your device turned up too.*

7. The buttons on my app overlap a little bit. What is wrong with it?

Check your device's system settings under Display. You should see an option for Screen Zoom or just Zoom settings. If your Zoom settings are very high it can create some squeezing of buttons and the need to scroll some features and text. Setting the Zoom setting lower will help with that. The app is optimized at about the middle zoom setting for most devices.

8. I cleared my browser history and now my app settings and collections are gone. What happened?

Vesta Grove includes a simple Backup & Restore system. I recommend backing up every couple of weeks. It takes one tap and saves a file to your device. If you ever need to clear your browser or switch devices, you can restore everything from that file.

9. Can I share Vesta Grove with someone else? 

Yes. You can share the link with anyone you think might benefit. The app doesn't require accounts or personal information, so there's nothing to set up on their behalf.
